Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Posted on September 27, 2025

Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is the ultimate comfort food hack—no need to boil noodles or layer endlessly. Using frozen ravioli, hearty pasta sauce, and plenty of gooey cheese, you can create a rich, satisfying lasagna right in your slow cooker. It’s perfect for busy weeknights or feeding a crowd with minimal effort.

Prep Time, Cook Time & Servings

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 4 hours (on Low) or 2½ hours (on High)
  • Total Time: 4 hours 15 minutes
  • Servings: 6–8

Equipment Needed

  • 6-quart crockpot/slow cooker
  • Large spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cheese grater (if shredding your own)

Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional, for meat sauce)
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes (optional for extra sauciness)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish, optional)

Ingredient Notes

  • Ravioli: Cheese ravioli works best, but you can also use spinach or meat-filled ravioli.
  • Protein: Ground beef or sausage adds richness, but you can skip for a vegetarian version.
  • Cheese: Freshly grated mozzarella melts smoother than pre-shredded.
  • Sauce: A hearty marinara with herbs complements ravioli perfectly—add crushed tomatoes if you want extra saucy layers.

Instructions

  1. Cook Meat (Optional):
    • In a skillet, cook ground beef or sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in marinara sauce and seasonings.
  2. Layer in Crockpot:
    • Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.
    • Top with sauce, then a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan.
    • Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and cheese on top.
  3. Cook:
    • Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours or High for 2½ hours until ravioli is tender and cheese is melted.
  4. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Scoop into bowls and enjoy warm.
