These Easy Pecan Pie Bars taste just like your favorite Southern pecan pie but are simpler to make and easier to share! With a buttery shortbread crust and a rich, gooey pecan filling, they’re the perfect treat for holidays, parties, or anytime you crave something sweet and nutty.

For the Filling:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Step 2: Make the Crust

Mix until crumbly, then press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.

Step 3: Prepare the Filling

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
Stir in chopped pecans.

Step 4: Assemble & Bake

Pour the pecan filling evenly over the baked crust.
Return to oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until the filling is set and golden brown.

Step 5: Cool & Slice

Let cool completely before cutting into squares or bars.
