Pound Cake

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 4 large eggs, room temperature

  • 1 tbsp key lime zest

  • ΒΌ cup fresh key lime juice

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • Β½ tsp baking powder

  • Β½ tsp salt

  • Β½ cup milk or buttermilk

Key Lime Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tbsp key lime juice

  • Β½ tsp lime zest (optional)

1️⃣ Prep

  • Preheat oven to 325Β°F (165Β°C)

  • Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan

2️⃣ Make Batter

  • Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy

  • Add eggs one at a time

  • Mix in lime zest, juice & vanilla

  • Whisk flour, baking powder & salt

  • Add dry ingredients alternately with milk

3️⃣ Bake

  • Pour batter into pan

  • Bake 60–70 minutes until toothpick comes out clean

4️⃣ Glaze

  • Mix glaze ingredients until smooth

  • Drizzle over cooled cake
