This Baked Beans Salad is a classic sweet-and-tangy side dish made with baked beans, fresh veggies, and a creamy dressing. It’s perfect for BBQs, picnics, potlucks, and family gatherings.

🥘 Ingredients

🫘 Salad

  • 2 cans (28 oz / 800g) baked beans, drained

  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped

  • ½ cup green bell pepper, chopped

  • ½ cup celery, chopped

  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)

  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)


🥣 Creamy Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp sour cream (or Greek yogurt)

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste


👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Salad

  1. In a large bowl, add baked beans, onion, bell pepper, celery, bacon, and cheese.


Step 2: Make Dressing

  1. In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper.


Step 3: Combine

  1. Pour dressing over the beans mixture.

  2. Gently toss until everything is well coated.


Step 4: Chill

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for best flavor.
