Part 2 — He Never Forgot the Girl Behind the Fence

Twenty years later, the little boy everyone had forgotten came back to town in a black luxury car.

Suddenly, a black car stopped outside.

“I finally found you,” he said.

She stared at him.

“I’m sorry… do I know you?”

The man reached into his coat and pulled out something wrapped in old paper.

When Emily opened it, she began to cry.

It was a tiny photograph she had given that hungry little boy twenty years earlier.

On the back, in her childhood handwriting, were four simple words:

“You are not alone.”

The millionaire looked at her and said, “You were the only person who ever made me feel like I mattered.”

Then he revealed why he had come back—and what he planned to give her would leave the entire town speechless.
