For the Wings
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp cornflour (makes them crispy)
- 2 tbsp oil
For the Glaze
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tsp chili flakes or hot sauce
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- Optional: 1 tsp butter for richness
🔥 Instructions
1. Prepare the Wings
- Pat wings dry (important for crispiness).
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder.
- Add cornflour and mix to coat evenly.
- Drizzle oil and toss.
2. Bake or Air Fry
Baking (super crispy!)
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F)
- Line tray with foil or baking paper
- Bake wings 25 minutes, flip, then bake 20 more minutes
- Wings should be golden and crispy
Air Fryer
- 200°C (400°F)
- 15 minutes, flip, then 10–12 minutes more
3. Make the Glaze
In a pan, add:
- Honey
- Soy sauce
- Ketchup
- Vinegar
- Garlic
- Chili flakes
Simmer 3–4 minutes until thick and sticky.
Add 1 tsp butter (optional) for shine.

4. Coat the Wings
- Add the crispy wings to the pan
- Toss until fully coated and glossy
