Crispy Glazed Chicken Wings

⭐ Ingredients

For the Wings

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp cornflour (makes them crispy)
  • 2 tbsp oil

For the Glaze

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chili flakes or hot sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • Optional: 1 tsp butter for richness

🔥 Instructions

1. Prepare the Wings

  1. Pat wings dry (important for crispiness).
  2. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder.
  3. Add cornflour and mix to coat evenly.
  4. Drizzle oil and toss.

2. Bake or Air Fry

Baking (super crispy!)

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F)
  • Line tray with foil or baking paper
  • Bake wings 25 minutes, flip, then bake 20 more minutes
  • Wings should be golden and crispy

Air Fryer

  • 200°C (400°F)
  • 15 minutes, flip, then 10–12 minutes more

3. Make the Glaze

In a pan, add:

  • Honey
  • Soy sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Vinegar
  • Garlic
  • Chili flakes

Simmer 3–4 minutes until thick and sticky.

Add 1 tsp butter (optional) for shine.

4. Coat the Wings

  • Add the crispy wings to the pan
  • Toss until fully coated and glossy
