Ingredients
- 1–2 inches fresh ginger root (peeled & sliced)
- 3–4 cups water
- 1–2 tsp honey (optional)
- 1–2 tsp lemon juice (optional, for extra detox & flavor)
Instructions
- Prepare the ginger:
Peel the ginger and slice it thin so more flavor releases.
- Boil:
Add ginger slices to a pot with water.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain:
Remove the ginger pieces using a strainer.
- Flavor (optional):
Stir in honey or lemon juice if you like.
- Serve:
Enjoy warm — or chill it in the fridge for a refreshing drink.
