This nostalgic School Pizza tastes just like the rectangular pizza served in school cafeterias—soft crust, savory meat topping, and plenty of melted cheese.

For the Crust
- 2 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup powdered milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet (2¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water

- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder

For the Topping
- ½ pound ground beef
- ½ pound Italian sausage
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Dough
- In a large bowl, combine flour, powdered milk, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warm water and oil.
- Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise for 30–45 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the Meat
- Brown the ground beef and sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess grease.
- Set aside to cool slightly.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- In a bowl, combine tomato sauce, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well and set aside.
Step 4: Assemble the Pizza
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Press dough evenly into the pan.
- Bake the crust for 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven and spread sauce over the crust.
- Sprinkle cooked meat evenly over the sauce.
- Top with mozzarella cheese.
