This Strawberry & Pineapple Layered Dessert is light, fruity, and creamy with vibrant layers of fresh strawberries, sweet pineapple, and fluffy whipped cream. Perfect for parties, summer gatherings, or a refreshing treat!

⏱ Prep Time

  • Prep: 15 minutes

  • Chill: 2 hours

  • Total: ~2 hours 15 minutes

Servings: 6–8

🍳 Equipment

  • Trifle dish or individual serving glasses

  • Mixing bowls

  • Whisk or electric mixer

  • Spoon or spatula

🥘 Ingredients

Fruit Layer

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 1½ cups pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)

  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional, for macerating strawberries)

Cream Layer

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened (optional, for creamier texture)

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Shaved white chocolate

  • Extra fruit slices

📝 Ingredient Notes

  • Use ripe, in-season strawberries for maximum flavor.

  • Fresh pineapple is preferred, but canned works fine if drained well.

  • Cream cheese adds extra richness but can be skipped for a lighter dessert.

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep fruit: Slice strawberries and pineapple. Toss strawberries with sugar and let sit 10 minutes to macerate.

  2. Make cream layer: Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. For extra richness, fold in cream cheese until smooth.

  3. Layer dessert: In a trifle dish or individual glasses, layer pineapple, then strawberries, then whipped cream. Repeat layers if desired.

  4. Chill: Refrigerate at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.

  5. Garnish & serve: Top with extra fruit, mint, or white chocolate before serving.
