Apple Pie Biscuits with Caramel Glaze

Posted on February 2, 2026

These Apple Pie Biscuits are soft, fluffy, and filled with warm cinnamon apples, then drizzled with rich caramel glaze. They taste just like apple pie—but in easy biscuit form!

⏱ Prep Time

  • Prep: 10 minutes

  • Bake: 15–18 minutes

  • Total: ~30 minutes

Servings: 8–10 biscuits

🍳 Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

  • Baking dish or sheet

  • Knife & cutting board

  • Spoon or spatula

🥘 Ingredients

Apple Filling

  • 1 cup apple pie filling (or diced apples)

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Biscuits

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8-count)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Caramel Glaze

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream (optional, for thinner glaze)

📝 Ingredient Notes

  • Use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples for best flavor.

  • Homemade apple filling tastes best, but canned works fast.

  • Add chopped nuts for extra crunch.

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. Prepare apples: Cook apples with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until soft (skip if using canned filling).

  3. Flatten biscuits: Press each biscuit into a circle.

  4. Fill: Add a spoon of apple filling in the center and fold to seal.

  5. Arrange: Place biscuits seam-side down in the baking dish.

  6. Top: Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

  7. Bake: 15–18 minutes until golden brown.

  8. Glaze: Warm caramel sauce and drizzle over warm biscuits.

💡 Tips & Variations

  • Icing glaze: Mix powdered sugar + milk instead of caramel.

  • Apple pie bombs: Wrap apples in biscuit dough completely for stuffed bombs.

  • Extra indulgent: Add cream cheese filling with apples.

  • Keto version: Use keto biscuit dough and sugar-free caramel (great for your keto audience 😉)
