Fried Potatoes Onions And Smoked Polish Sausage

🍳 Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked Polish sausage (kielbasa), sliced

  • 1½ lbs potatoes, diced (Yukon gold or russet)

  • 1 large onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Potatoes

  • Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add diced potatoes, season with salt and pepper.

  • Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.

2️⃣ Add Onions & Sausage

  • Add sliced onions and sausage to the skillet.

  • Sprinkle paprika and garlic powder over the mixture.

3️⃣ Fry Until Golden

  • Uncover and cook 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are crispy and onions are caramelized.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Taste and adjust seasoning.

  • Garnish with parsley if desired.
