12 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

5 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

½ tsp paprika

Salt & black pepper, to taste

½ cup reserved pasta water

2 tbsp lemon juice
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook Pasta

Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.

Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Cook Shrimp

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a skillet.

Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink.

Remove and set aside.
3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce

In the same pan, melt remaining butter.

Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté 30 seconds.
4. Combine

Add pasta, shrimp, pasta water, and lemon juice.

Toss gently until coated and glossy.
5. Finish

Remove from heat.

Stir in Parmesan and parsley.
