🍲Cooking Tips:

Use Freshly Brewed Coffee:

Brew immediately before drinking for the freshest flavor. If you like a stronger coffee flavor, try using espresso.

Unsweetened Almond Milk

Unsweetened almond milk forms a good smooth low-carb base. Alternatively, coconut milk can provide an even heavier texture, or cream for its richness.

Homemade Pumpkin-Spice Blend:

If you don’t have any pumpkin pie spice, simply combine your cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves for your own magical blend. Freshly ground is always great!

Sweeten to:

Sweeten your latte with your very own preferences of KETO sweeteners-stevia, erythritol or monk fruit.

Froth the milk well:

Froth your milk; for a velvety latte, froth is very important. If you do not have a frothing wand, heat the milk, then pour it into a container and whip vigorously.

Sprinkle of Spice:

Pour on a bit of flavor by sprinkling pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon over the surface of your latte as you serve them.

Make it Iced:

Brew your coffee, cool it down, pour it over ice, and pour over your frothy milk.

🌿INGREDIENTS:

  1. Brewed Coffee or Espresso
  2. Unsweetened Almond Milk (or preferred milk)
  3. Canned Pumpkin Puree
  4. Pumpkin Pie Spice
  5. Keto-Friendly Sweetener (e.g., Stevia, Erythritol, or Monk Fruit)
  6. Vanilla Extract
  7. Ground Cinnamon (for garnish, optional)

INGREDIENT NOTES :

Brewed Coffee or Espresso

Espresso is the strength of flavor with a more intense and bold taste.

Unsweetened Almond Milk

Choose Unsweetened for that low-carb option.

And, you can use coconut milk or cream if you are looking for richness.

Canned Pumpkin Puree

Make sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.

Alternatively, fresh pumpkin puree may be used instead.

Pumpkin Pie Spice

It is a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.

It can either be mixed at home or already contains pre-mixed spice.

Keto-Friendly Sweetener

Stevia, Erythritol, or Monk Fruit can be chosen as a sweetener for being sugar-free.

Change that sweetness to your preference.

Vanilla Extract

Add a hint of extra flavor without being overpowering.

Preferably, use pure vanilla in extracts for the best flavor.

Ground Cinnamon (for garnish).

Optional more spice for your extra decoration.

This adds coziness to your latte presentation.

🍳INSTRUCTION :

Brew the Coffee

Brew yourself a cup of strong coffee or pull a shot of espresso, whichever way you fancy.

Prepare Pump Spice Mixture

Combine the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and sweetener in a small saucepan. Stir together well.

Heat and Froth the Milk

Combine the unsweetened almond milk and pumpkin mixture in the saucepan on medium-low heat until warm, stirring often.

Once warmed, use a milk frother to froth the milk or whisk it vigorously until frothy.

Combine Coffee and Pumpkin Mixture

Pour brewed coffee or espresso into an empty mug.

Slowly pour on top the warm frothy pumpkin milk mixture.

Garnish and serve

Sprinkle on top a pinch of ground cinnamon or extra pumpkin pie spice for garnishing, if you prefer.

📑Key Notes:

Sweetness Needs Adjustment to Personal Preference

Add sweetener to taste; add more if you desire or less if you would rather not. Start with a small addition, keep tasting.

Pumpkin Puree Texture

To prevent any lumps from forming in your latte, always try to get a smooth pumpkin puree. Blend if necessary.

Fresh, Fresh Spices

Freshly ground spices like cinnamon and nutmeg will enhance the flavor far more than those pre-ground.

Frothing Techniques

Heavy cream allows a richer texture than almond milk, so for a nice creamy froth, use it instead!

Optional Iced Version

For an iced latte, allow the brewed coffee to cool, pour the cooled coffee over ice, and add the pumpkin milk mixture.

Make It Dairy-Free

For the completely dairy-free version, use almond or coconut milk and avoid all dairy-based creamers.
