Shrimp Scampi

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

3 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

ΒΌ cup white wine or chicken broth

Juice of Β½ lemon

ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Cook the Steak
Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat.
Sear steak 3β4 minutes per side (medium-rare) or to desired doneness.
Add butter, spoon over steak, then remove and rest 5 minutes. -
Make Shrimp Scampi
In the same pan, add olive oil and butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook 1β2 minutes per side. -
Create Sauce
Pour in wine (or broth) and lemon juice.
Simmer 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
Stir in Parmesan and parsley. -
Serve
Slice steak and serve with shrimp scampi and extra sauce spooned over top.
