🥄 Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix

  • 3 large eggs

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • ½ cup milk

For the Strawberry Swirl:

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½ cup strawberry preserves

For the Glaze:

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tablespoons milk

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  3. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, sour cream, and milk until smooth.

Step 2: Layer & Swirl

  1. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish.

  2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together.

  3. Sprinkle half of the mixture over the batter.

  4. Spoon strawberry preserves evenly on top.

  5. Add remaining batter and top with remaining sugar mixture.

  6. Use a knife to gently swirl through the layers.

Step 3: Bake

Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 4: Glaze

  1. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

  2. Pour over warm cake so it soaks in slightly.

Let cool before slicing.
