Strawberry Banana Pudding is a rich, creamy, layered no-bake dessert made with sweet bananas, fresh strawberries, vanilla wafers, and smooth pudding. It’s a crowd-favorite for parties, summer gatherings, or family desserts. Main Dessert

  • 2 cups cold milk

  • 1 (5 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Fruit & Layers

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 1 box vanilla wafers (about 11 oz / 300 g)

✅ Fresh strawberries taste best, but thawed frozen ones can work

Step 1 — Make the Pudding Base

In a bowl, whisk together cold milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes until thick.
Set aside.

Step 2 — Whip the Cream

In another bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.


Step 3 — Combine

Fold whipped cream gently into pudding until smooth and fluffy.
This creates a light mousse-style filling.


Step 4 — Layer the Dessert

In your dish:

  1. Spread a thin layer of pudding

  2. Add vanilla wafers

  3. Add banana slices

  4. Add strawberry slices

  5. Spread pudding

Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with pudding on top.


Step 5 — Chill

Cover and refrigerate at least 3–4 hours (overnight best).


Step 6 — Garnish & Serve

Top with:

  • crushed wafers

  • extra strawberries

  • whipped cream

Serve cold.
