Step 1: Prepare Apples

  1. In a pan, melt butter and add apple slices, sugar, and cinnamon.

  3. Spread apples in the bottom of a greased baking dish.


Step 2: Make Custard

  1. In a bowl, whisk yogurt, sugar, eggs, milk, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt until smooth.


Step 3: Assemble

  • Pour yogurt mixture over the apples.


Step 4: Bake

  1. Place the baking dish in a larger pan and add hot water halfway up the sides (water bath).

  2. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 40–50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.


Step 5: Cool & Serve

  • Let cool completely, then chill for 1–2 hours.

  • Slice and serve cold or at room temperature.
