  • 12 oz (340g) linguine pasta

  • Salt for pasta water


🍤 Shrimp & Sausage

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 8 oz (225g) smoked sausage or Andouille, sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste


🧄 Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley


👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Cook Pasta

  1. Boil linguine in salted water according to package directions.

  2. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain pasta.


Step 2: Season & Cook Shrimp

  1. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.


Step 3: Cook Sausage

  • In the same skillet, add sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.


Step 4: Make Creamy Sauce

  1. Add garlic to skillet and sauté 30 seconds.

  2. Pour in cream and chicken broth.

  3. Stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes.

  4. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.


Step 5: Combine

  1. Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and sausage back to the skillet.

  2. Toss everything together, adding pasta water if needed.

  3. Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
