Seasoned Shrimp and Sausage Linguine

This Seasoned Shrimp and Sausage Linguine is rich, flavorful, and loaded with juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, and a creamy garlic sauce. It’s an easy one-pan pasta dinner that tastes like a restaurant meal.

🍝 Pasta

  • 12 oz (340g) linguine pasta

  • Salt for pasta water


🍀 Shrimp & Sausage

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 8 oz (225g) smoked sausage or Andouille, sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • Β½ tsp paprika

  • Β½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • Β½ cup chicken broth

  • Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Β½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Step 1: Cook Pasta

  1. Boil linguine in salted water according to package directions.

  2. Reserve Β½ cup pasta water and drain pasta.


Step 2: Season & Cook Shrimp

  1. Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.


Step 3: Cook Sausage

  • In the same skillet, add sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.


Step 4: Make Creamy Sauce

  1. Add garlic to skillet and sautΓ© 30 seconds.

  2. Pour in cream and chicken broth.

  3. Stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes.

  4. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.


Step 5: Combine

  1. Add cooked pasta, shrimp, and sausage back to the skillet.

  2. Toss everything together, adding pasta water if needed.

  3. Finish with lemon juice and parsley.
