  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander or parsley

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (or chickpea flour)

  • 2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • ½ cup water (as needed)

  • Oil for frying

Step 1: Mix Ingredients

  1. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, cooked rice, onion, chilies, garlic, and herbs.

  2. Add flour, cornflour, turmeric, chili powder, pepper, and salt.

  3. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.


Step 2: Fry Fritters

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Scoop spoonfuls of batter and flatten slightly.

  3. Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.


Step 3: Drain & Serve

  • Remove fritters and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  • Serve hot with chutney or yogurt dip.
